Overlooking a deep bay, Kalkan has a great location and a good selection of villas at the middle and upper end of the market

Once a sleepy fishing village, Kalkan is now a popular resort with a growing community of overseas homeowners. Tumbling down the mountainside to a harbour and small pebble beach, there are plenty of good restaurants and a few bars.

The town is particularly well supplied with villas, many of which have good views of the sea, although there are also some new apartment projects. Prices are relatively high, with villas costing from £150,000 - over £500,000. There is a good local rental market for high quality villas with pools.
