Property Guide — Marmaris

One of Turkey's largest resorts with over a million visitors each year, Marmaris has beaches, water sports and lots of night-life.

The town sits on a wide bay protected by steep pine-forested mountains. Not surprisingly it boasts excellent services, entertainment and shopping, and there is a wide choice of property, though prices in some areas are rising rapidly due to high demand from domestic and foreign buyers.

Among the most popular areas are Armutalan, which is several kilometers from the sea, and Icmeler, where property sells at a hefty premium due to the good beach and well-developed infrastructure.
